Bringing the Flavors of Mexico
to Your Next Event

Hello, I'm Lourdes Lopez, fondly known as Lulu. My journey with food began in the vibrant city of Uruapan, Michoacan. At the young age of 6 or 7, I found myself alongside my grandmother, immersed in the art of cooking. I vividly remember stirring corn kernels for Tamales and Atole, meticulously washing and grinding them in a traditional manual grinder. It was in these moments, surrounded by the aromas and sounds of the kitchen, that I discovered my calling.

Growing up in a large and loving family, food played a central role in our gatherings. Holidays were a symphony of flavors and laughter, with dishes like pozole, tamales, mole, chiles rellenos, and atoles - each celebration had its special recipe in Mexico's rich culinary tapestry. The sight of my family cooking together, united and joyful over shared meals, is a cherished memory that underscores my passion for food.

In addition to our family kitchen, my grandmother and mother were renowned cooks in our town, often preparing feasts for the entire community during festive times. I reveled in helping out during these grand occasions. Moving to the United States, I was struck by how different the 'Mexican' food tasted here, and it ignited in me a desire to introduce authentic Mexican flavors.

With nearly two decades of experience in the food industry, I am now embarking on a new adventure with my first catering service. My dream is to soon open my restaurant. For me, good food is more than sustenance; it's a reason for people to come together, share joy, and create lasting bonds. This belief is the heart of my business and my lifelong love for what I do.
